Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS, automation, and DevOps best practices. This role requires deep experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and system reliability. Experience with high-performance, scalable systems is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented infrastructure code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate infrastructure solutions that support software development and deployment.
Work closely with external stakeholders, including customers, to understand requirements, conduct system testing, and implement necessary improvements.
Optimize system performance, monitor infrastructure health, and ensure robust, reliable operations.
Debug and troubleshoot system issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or cloud architecture.
Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and networking.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.).
Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
Familiarity with cost optimization strategies for cloud environments.
Experience with modern web technologies.
