- Own the service desk and resolve IT requests from a remote team through Slack and a ticketing system.
- Provision, change, and remove user access across Google Workspace, Slack, AWS, and other SaaS tools.
- Manage the Mac fleet through MDM, including procurement, shipping, repair, and inventory.
- Support the security program by triaging alerts and organizing evidence for audits.
- Document processes and recommend improvements to IT policies and tools.
🛠️ Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or IT support across more than one company or environment.
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and a SaaS-heavy stack, including identity and access management.
- Experience managing macOS devices with an MDM (Iru, Jamf, or similar).
- Working knowledge of AWS, including IAM basics.
- Comfort with shell scripting or Python to automate routine tasks.
- Exposure to security tooling (CSPM, EDR, SIEM, or vulnerability scanners) and a strong interest in growing on the security side.
- A service-first attitude. You are patient, clear, and friendly with non-technical teammates.
- The courage to jump into unfamiliar systems, ask how urgent a request is, and prioritize without waiting for permission.
- Clear written communication. You document your work so others can follow it.
- Nice to have: experience supporting a SOC 2 or PCI audit, experience with Wiz or Datadog, or experience working alongside software engineers in a SaaS company.

Sure's IT and Infrastructure team keeps a remote company, its SaaS stack, and its cloud environment running and secure. We are hiring an IT Systems Engineer to own day-to-day IT for the whole company and to be the person our engineers, DevOps team, and security lead can count on to get things done.
You will report to our VP of IT and work closely with our DevOps engineers. The work is broad. One hour you are provisioning access for a new hire, the next you are tracking down why an endpoint is out of compliance, and later you are pulling evidence for a SOC 2 audit. You won't know every tool on day one, and that's fine. We care more about how you jump into something unfamiliar and figure it out.
