📜 Description

  • You'll own both the technical direction and product roadmap for SIXT's central MLOps/LLMOps Platform: the foundation enabling 80+ Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and product teams to ship GenAI applications at scale. You
  • You own the architecture of the MLOps/LLMOps Platform. You make the design calls, weigh build vs. buy, and are accountable for the technical direction
  • You review code and designs regularly to keep quality high, and you go hands-on when it counts: prototyping a spike, debugging a production incident, or picking up implementation work when it makes the difference
  • You run the agile cadence (stand-ups, planning, refinement, reviews, retros), moderate technical discussions, and drive the team to clear decisions while keeping everyone focused and unblocked
  • You represent your users and turn their needs into platform capabilities and adoption

🛠️ Requirements

  • Engineering & Architecture You have built and shipped production software (ideally in Python and infrastructure-as-code), can still do it, and you design and evaluate platform architectures rather than delegating
  • Product Ownership You have a proven track record as a Tech Lead, Technical Product Owner, or Engineering Lead with real backlog and roadmap responsibility. You set direction, prioritize, and drive outcomes rather than
  • MLOps/LLMOps Depth You have a solid understanding of ML and LLM lifecycles and platform engineering, enough to own technical prioritization with confidence
  • AI-Assisted Development You use AI-assisted tools thoughtfully and know how to apply them in ways that remain reviewable, reliable, and useful in day-to-day engineering work
