Are you ready to take the lead in a high-impact Procurement role within Group Procurement at SEB?
Do you want to drive real business value through strategic sourcing and category management across key indirect spend areas such as Marketing, Professional Services, and Insurance? This is your opportunity to contribute directly to SEB’s enterprise-wide procurement objectives.
As a Sourcing & Category Manager in Group Procurement, you will own and drive procurement strategies and sourcing initiatives—leading projects end-to-end across multiple business lines, regions, and functions. You will work closely with stakeholders in Finance, Group Business Services, and the broader business to ensure alignment, cost efficiency, and sustainable value creation.
This role is ideal for a motivated and self-driven procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic environment—someone who is structured, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple sourcing initiatives in parallel while collaborating cross-functionally.

About the role
As part of SEB’s Group Procurement organization you will be supported by, and collaborate with, many skilled procurement colleagues in Sweden and on SEB’s other sites.
You will be responsible for e.g.:
• Own and develop category strategies and multi year roadmaps for your respective category
• Perform demand, market, and TCO analysis
• Define preferred supplier models and sourcing strategies within your assigned category
• Decide when sourcing activities are required and how they are classified (strategic/non strategic)
• Act as commercial owner for categories and supplier portfolios
• Accountable for value realization and risk mitigation at category level
• Responsible for category structure and categorization
• Define sourcing strategy for Strategic projects
• Generate supplier portfolio and input for RFx
• Select Implementation Path and Prepare RFx
• Prepare, formulate and develop negotiation tactics
• Collaborate with other functions, such as e.g. TPRMS to Develop & conduct continuous risk assessment plan for all strategic vendors which includes but is not limited to identification, impact assessment, monitoring and control
To thrive in this role, we believe you have
• A Master degree in finance, economics engineering fields or Law is preferred
• Have a sufficient and proven track record within the Procurement field
• Have experience and knowledge of driving sourcing and procurement projects
• Have experience in collecting and analyzing data as well as presenting the results and insights in a professional way
• Ability to see broadly and understand strategic changes and effectively translate that into necessary process and/or requirements needed to support the needs of the business
• Highly effective communication, relationship building, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed, self-motivated that find motivation in a diverse portfolio of tasks
• Thrive interacting with many different colleagues and functions to reach you targets
• Speak and write English fluently
• Hands on experience from procurement systems such as Coupa is preferred
