Responsibilities:

• As a Backend Developer, you will work on the financial core team.
• Tackle complex challenges both in business and scale/performance related.
• Own new developments from design to deployment.
• Work closely with various teams in the company - product, finance, operations, bizdev, and others.
• Strive for greatness - ensure the highest standards of architecture & design, performance, security, and best practices are met.

Requirements:

• Team players. Rockstars without the ego. Fast learners who work hard and get S*** done.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent is a MUST.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Java experience is a must.
• Experience in developing high-performance, scalable backend systems.
• Extensive DB experience (MySQL, Mongo, Redis).
• Previous fintech experience is a plus.

Advantages:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (esp. AWS) is an advantage.
  
• Kafka/Confluent or other distributed events platform is an advantage.
