About the role:

As Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend-focused), Retail Media / AdTech Solutions, you will help shape and evolve our Retail Media platform by building intuitive advertiser-facing products and the backend services that power them. You will collaborate closely with Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, the Retail Media business team and other stakeholders to turn complex business requirements into scalable end-to-end solutions.

About the tech stack:

React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Koa.js, NestJS, MongoDB, Redis, BullMQ, RabbitMQ, Algolia, Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Google Cloud Platform, CircleCI, ArgoCD, and integrations with modern ad-serving platforms.

 

While this is a remote position based in Germany, it may require occasional on-site collaboration at our offices in Berlin or Cologne, depending on business and team requirements.

Job Description

About your tasks:

• Shape the future of our Retail Media platform by building end-to-end experiences across campaign management, advertiser self-service, reporting and other AdTech products.
• Build complex web applications with React, Next.js and TypeScript, including reporting, asset management, permissions, audience segments and other advertiser workflows.
• Develop backend services and integrations using Node.js and TypeScript, working with APIs, MongoDB, Redis and asynchronous workflows to support scalable product experiences.
• Own features end to end, from technical discovery and solution design through implementation, testing, rollout and production support.
• Contribute to our in-house engineering journey, helping shape the architecture and engineering practices as the Retail Media platform and organization grow.

Qualifications

About you:

• You bring strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript, building complex production web applications.
• You have hands-on experience with Node.js or comparable backend technologies and are comfortable designing and integrating APIs and services.
• You enjoy working across the frontend/backend boundary and taking ownership of complete product features rather than a single technical layer.
• You thrive in fast-growing product environments and enjoy collaborating closely with Product, UX and other Engineers.
• Experience with Retail Media, AdTech, e-commerce, marketplaces or B2B self-service platforms is a strong advantage, as is experience with cloud-native and distributed systems.
