The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational objectives to drive business performance and growth. This role partners closely with leaders supporting highly technical organizations, providing expertise across organizational design, workforce planning, leadership coaching, employee relations, talent strategy, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate understands how to support organizations operating in rapidly evolving technology environments and is able to influence leaders through periods of growth, transformation, and organizational change. Experience supporting AI, GPU infrastructure, inference platforms, cloud infrastructure, data centers, or other high-performance computing organizations is strongly preferred. The HRBP develops trusted partnerships across the HR function to deliver integrated, value-added solutions while maintaining a strong understanding of the business strategy, financial performance, competitive landscape, and evolving talent market. Work Location - Remote in the United States of America - Candidates must be located in the Mountain or Pacific time zones of the United States ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Serve as a strategic HR advisor to senior leaders, aligning talent strategies with business priorities and organizational objectives. • Build trusted relationships with leaders to proactively address organizational challenges and enable business growth. • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, leadership effectiveness, and talent development. • Support organizations operating in rapidly evolving technology environments, with a strong understanding of the unique talent challenges associated with AI, GPU infrastructure, inference, cloud computing, and emerging technologies. • Translate business priorities into integrated HR strategies in partnership with Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, HR Operations, and Employee Relations. • Lead organizational change initiatives by providing coaching, change management support, and communication strategies that improve adoption and business outcomes. • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders regarding employee relations, performance management, engagement, and career development while ensuring consistent application of company policies and employment laws. • Analyze workforce and people data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, using insights to recommend actionable business solutions. • Partner with leaders to improve organizational effectiveness through talent reviews, organizational assessments, and capability planning. • Collaborate across regional and global HR teams to share best practices and drive consistency across the organization. • Lead or contribute to enterprise HR initiatives that support the company's strategic priorities and culture. • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive talent practices, and labor market dynamics, particularly within AI, GPU, cloud infrastructure, and high-growth technology sectors. ________________________________________ Qualifications Required • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Master's degree or MBA preferred. • 5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least four years in a strategic HR Business Partner role supporting technical or business organizations. • Demonstrated experience in advising leaders through complex employee situations. • Experience in multiple HR disciplines, including at least two of the following: - Organizational Development - Performance Management - Compensation - Talent Acquisition - HR Analytics - HR Operations - Employee Engagement - HRIS • Strong consulting, coaching, and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility across all organizational levels. • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage workforce data to influence business decisions. • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced environment. Preferred • Experience serving as an HR Business Partner supporting Product, GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS), AI/ML, inference, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or technical delivery organizations. • Experience partnering with leaders in fast-paced technology environments and an understanding of the talent landscape for AI, GPU, and high-performance computing (HPC) organizations is strongly preferred. • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, or Technical Operations leaders during periods of rapid growth, organizational transformation, or technology innovation. • Experience supporting geographically dispersed or global teams. Work Location - Remote in the United States of America - Hybrid for candidates located in the San Antonio, TX area, working two days a week at the Rackspace HQ - Preference for candidates located in the Mountain or Pacific time zones #LI-AW1 #LI-Remote Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The compensation range for this position ranges from $78,074.00/year in our lowest geographic market up to 114,546.30 USD/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
