We are seeking an Advanced Software Engineer - Hybrid Quantum-HPC Orchestration in our Broomfield, CO location to design and develop a hybrid workflow orchestrator between Quantinuum quantum processors and classical supercomputing resources in the United States.
Quantinuum is bridging the gap between classical high-performance computing (HPC) and next-generation Quantum Processing Units (QPUs). Key Responsibilities:
Write high quality, maintainable code in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment
Build and maintain scalable orchestration software to manage hybrid quantum-classical workflows.
Develop robust interfaces between HPC job schedulers (e.g., Slurm) and quantum runtimes, optimizing data movement and job scheduling.
Work with QPU hardware control systems and SDKs to integrate quantum execution into production pipelines.
Ensure high availability, monitoring, and debugging of distributed hybrid systems.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelors Degree minimum
5+ years of professional software development experience
5+ years of experience in Python, Rust and/or C++
Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, or worker granted asylum or refugee status.

WE VALUE:
Masters/PhD degree in Computer Science
History of developing compiled python extensions
Understanding of common HPC software such as Slurm or PBS
Experience collaborating with external scientific and technical partners
Ability to solve complex problems and ability to communicate how you did it
Rust development experience with a track-record of contribution to open-source and commercial projects
