πŸ“œ Description

  • Coordinate day-to-day client communications, including meeting schedules, agendas, and polished recaps with decisions and next steps.
  • Track account activity, deadlines, and deliverables, coordinating with channel managers and creatives to keep work on schedule.
  • Maintain creative trackers with accurate statuses, approvals, and visibility for Growth Managers.
  • Build and document internal processes, systems, and automations with the Growth team.
  • Manage routine communications and follow-ups with Google, Meta, and other vendors and platform partners.
  • Use AI tools to streamline tasks such as meeting summaries, email drafting, recaps, and vendor research.

πŸ› οΈ Requirements

  • You have 1–2 years of experience in a client-facing, agency, or marketing coordination role β€” or you've done something equivalent that gave you real accountability over multiple moving pieces.
  • You're excited about creating processes, systems, and templates β€” you see a broken workflow and immediately start thinking about how to fix it.
  • You're an excellent communicator and collaborator, and you think deeply about oxford commas. Your written communication is clear, warm, and polished β€” clients feel taken care of, not just managed.
  • You're genuinely curious about performance marketing. You don't need to know paid media cold, but you want to learn β€” you ask good questions and connect dots quickly.
  • You're comfortable working across tools like Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and project management platforms. You pick up new software quickly and don't need hand-holding to get productive.
  • You understand that AI handles the repetition β€” you handle the nuance. You don't expect AI to do your job. You expect it to make you dramatically better at it. That distinction matters to us.
  • You're ownership-oriented. You don't wait to be told something is going sideways β€” you see it, flag it, and often already have a fix in mind.
  • You're a good hang. We work closely and care about each other. Being great at your job and being a kind, low-ego teammate aren't in tension here β€” we expect both.
Full job description

About the role

The Junior Growth Manager role will report directly to a Growth Manager. This is a role that works closely with our clients, as well as our internal team β€” giving this individual real ownership over the day-to-day running of client accounts and relationships.

On a day-to-day basis, you'd be responsible for keeping accounts organized and on track: coordinating across teams, managing deadlines, communicating with clients, and building the systems and processes that make everyone around you more effective.

We're a small, growing team. As Pearmill scales β€” winning more sophisticated clients, expanding our tools, and taking on more ambitious work β€” our Growth Managers need a strong operational partner to run alongside them. That's this role. Your responsibilities will grow with the company, and you'll have a real impact on the business from day one.

πŸ’‘ A note on AI at Pearmill

AI isn't bolted onto our work or sold as a shortcut β€” it's embedded in how we think, test, and build. We use agentic workflows to handle repeatable work across media, creative, and reporting. The right person for this role doesn't just use AI tools β€” they're genuinely excited by them, curious enough to tinker, and confident enough to build with them.

3 awesome things about this role

  • The freedom to make the role your own! There's no rigid playbook here. You'll have real latitude to build systems, automate the repetitive stuff, and shape what great client operations look like at an AI-native agency.

  • Working across a variety of accounts with interesting people β€” both the clients and our colleagues. Every account is different, and you'll get exposure to a wide range of industries, challenges, and ways of thinking about growth.

  • Having real responsibility for the success of the account! This isn't a shadow-and-support role. You'll own key parts of how we show up for clients β€” and when things run smoothly, it's because of you.

Primary responsibilities

  • You will be a key point of contact for day-to-day client communication β€” scheduling meetings, sending agendas ahead of every call, and delivering polished post-meeting recaps that document decisions and next steps clearly.

  • You are the most organized member on the team β€” you know everything that's happening on your accounts, communicate details to all the stakeholders, and are able to be in the details. Deadlines don't sneak up on you.

  • You will track all deliverable deadlines across accounts and work directly with channel managers and creatives to ensure nothing gets missed. You're the first line of accountability when timelines are at risk.

  • You will maintain creative trackers across all active accounts β€” keeping statuses accurate, approvals logged, and visibility high so Growth Managers always know where things stand.

  • You will build and document internal processes and automations alongside the Growth team. We're actively investing in making Pearmill faster and smarter β€” you'll be executing on that work while GMs provide strategic direction.

  • You will manage ongoing vendor and platform relationships with Google, Meta, and other partners β€” owning routine correspondence, rep follow-ups, and keeping those relationships warm and proactive.

  • You will align the team on messaging and logistics for weekly client meetings, and support Growth Managers in orchestrating how we approach our relationships with clients.

  • You will actively use AI tools to get more done β€” writing better emails faster, summarizing meetings, drafting recaps, researching vendors, and finding smarter ways to handle the work that used to take hours.

About you

  • You live in AI tools. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity β€” you're in them every day, not just for drafting emails, but because you're genuinely curious about what they can do. You've probably already tried to build something with one. You're not afraid to break things.

  • You think in systems and automations. When you see a repetitive task, your instinct is to ask: can AI handle this? You're excited about agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and the idea that the best version of this job is one you've partially automated yourself.

Flourishing at Pearmill

We get an unreasonable amount of satisfaction out of making the things around us better at their jobs. Clients who arrived wanting a channel fixed and left with a system. People who joined to run ad accounts and left able to build a team that runs global strategy. And most recently, our little AI agents running around our Notion docs and giving us super powers.

We're a fast growing, diverse group of goofy yet dedicated marketers, creatives, engineers, and analysts, running over $500M in ad spend across 15+ platforms. Join us!
