The Position
OPSWAT is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Director of Product to enhance our Storage Security offerings and bolster our market position. As the head of this division, you will assume full responsibility for managing our Storage Security product line, overseeing both technical and business dimensions. This pivotal role involves shaping product roadmaps, developing solutions, establishing pricing strategies, and managing overall cost structures. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that product requirements are met and that deliverables align with expectations. We seek an engaged leader who is actively involved in the execution of daily operations, with a strong background in managing a business line, including budget oversight, and ensuring that strategic initiatives are converted into actionable tasks. Your responsibilities will encompass both on-premises solutions and cloud-native SaaS products. Additionally, you will coordinate product launches in partnership with global sales, corporate marketing, and creative teams.

What You Will Be Doing
- Shape the strategic direction for OPSWAT’s Storage Security products by assessing emerging security challenges, understanding the competitive landscape, and aligning OPSWAT’s strengths with innovative product goals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to clearly define product requirements, develop roadmaps, and establish exit criteria for core offerings, ensuring a match between technical capabilities and business objectives.
- Guide product development by incorporating both functional and non-functional customer requirements into practical plans.
- Improve pre- and post-sales processes by providing technical insights and solutions that enhance customer engagement and support business development activities.
- Manage the comprehensive go-to-market strategy for this business line, including sales enablement for direct sales and channel partners, website content, blogs, presentations, and business proposals.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across various go-to-market functions, including sales teams, channel partners, and technology alliances to enhance product adoption and visibility.
- Participate in sales calls to assist with proof-of-concept demonstrations and manage customer escalations effectively.

- Be prepared for occasional international travel to engage with internal teams and customers.
What We Need From You
- At least 5 years of experience in a B2B Product Management role, with a minimum of 3 years focused on the Storage Security domain.
- Deep hands on experience building with AI.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and architectures, with experience in a leadership capacity within a cloud development team; capability to effectively navigate and drive engineering processes.
- Strong storytelling skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of transforming complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT technology systems, including data protection solutions, encryption technologies, and frameworks for storage security.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills, showcasing effective people management abilities.
