🛠️ Requirements
- 4+ years' experience in DevOps or SRE, configuration management and software deployment as well as infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring other engineers
- A proven track record of working with preventive / predictive maintenance techniques
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Argo CD and GitOps deployment practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
- Experience with Kong, AWS API Gateway, or similar API gateway technologies
- Experience with message queue systems such as Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPCs, firewalls, etc.)

The Opportunity:
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team as a shared resource supporting multiple engineering teams. This hybrid role blends traditional DevOps responsibilities with some site reliability engineering practices. You'll be building and maintaining infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems.
As a resource shared across teams, you'll need to context-switch effectively, build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, and bring consistency to how infrastructure and operational practices are applied across the organization. Our next DevOps Engineer will contribute to shaping our technology culture and propel our product development teams to rapidly deliver high-value software.
Our cross-functional pods have built a world-class platform that supports all three of our lines of business and tackles new revenue-generating problems every day. You will have the opportunity to suggest ways to improve the existing architecture and technical debt as well as provide insight to optimize the Objectway Digital Client Onboarding (ODCO) platform and make it more scalable.
