  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals in the Public Sector with a focus on State Government.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key Government Stakeholders, including Senior Officials and Partners.
  • Identify new opportunities, generate leads, and pursue new government clients while expanding business with existing ones.
  • Manage tender and proposal processes, ensuring MongoDB is included in government tech stacks.
  • Lead the sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation and closure.
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.

🛠️ Requirements

  • BE/Tech/BCA/BS (Computers) required.
  • 10+ years of quota-carrying experience in the Public Sector with a focus on new business.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology in Public Sector Accounts.
  • A track record of overachievement in hitting sales targets annually.
  • Skilled in building business champions within Government Accounts and managing complex sales processes.
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with databases, DevOps, and open source technology is a plus.
