The Financial Analyst is responsible for reviewing and analyzing past financial results, performing variance analysis, and updating trends and business forecasts to drive business decisions. The Financial Analysts will participate in the budgeting and strategic planning process by contributing to the building of financial models, analyzing financial trends, and establishing assumptions. The role will be responsible for running and enhancing reporting systems to facilitate the production of information, budgeting analysis, forecasting analysis, variance commentary, reporting and reviews, and project preparation.
Expected Duties:
Consolidate companywide reporting for historical and projected financial statements, metrics, and KPIs
Responsible for reviewing and analyzing reporting results
Manage source data queries and recommend improvements in support of financial objectives
Build models in Anaplan
Build and manage financial models for ad hoc analyses
Provide accurate and timely reports for performance monitoring
May be responsible for budget or cost analysis
Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in subject area
Ability to conduct work assignments of increasing complexity under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment
Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience
The Sr. Financial Analyst will assist with financial planning, budgeting, and developing financial models while tracking key initiatives and supporting leadership with ad hoc requests.
Support the finance teams in decision-making by providing financial advisory, managing budgeting, closing, and forecasting processes, while ensuring accurate financial reporting.
