This fully remote role supports a large-scale Electronic Health Records modernization program focused on improving healthcare technology, data access, and patient experiences. You will contribute to complex biomedical and end-user device engineering initiatives across the systems lifecycle. The position combines systems design, device integration, infrastructure management, security, and technical documentation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity and implementation workstreams, while solving complex technology challenges. The role also provides opportunities to guide less-experienced professionals and take on team or task leadership responsibilities. Accountabilities:
- Contribute to device engineering workstreams, programs, and projects, helping deliver solutions to complex technical and operational challenges.
- Perform systems design, development, integration, and engineering activities throughout the full systems lifecycle, from initial design through implementation and ongoing support.
- Oversee complex infrastructure and biomedical and end-user devices, including installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and integration with customer environments.
- Develop, maintain, and improve technical documentation, processes, procedures, and work instructions supporting device engineering projects and program execution.
- Provide advanced solutions for infrastructure security, backup, redundancy, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring reliable and resilient technology environments.
- Maintain current knowledge of evolving technologies, particularly biomedical devices, end-user technologies, and the Oracle Health EHR environment, and apply that knowledge to program requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with cybersecurity, implementation, and other program workstreams, while communicating effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.
- Support knowledge sharing and professional development by coaching less-experienced team members and, when required, serving as a team or task lead.
