Lead, manage, plan, produce, implement, and evaluate internal and external communications strategies and programs across multiple audiences, channels, products, services, and market segments.
Develop communication strategies for high-risk and high-opportunity initiatives, partnering across business functions to achieve strategic and business objectives.
Research market communication trends and conditions, assess program performance, and use insights to identify opportunities and improve communication effectiveness.
Own major communications programs from strategy and positioning through development, execution, measurement, and optimization, ensuring processes and systems remain aligned with broader objectives.
Partner with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and strategic partners to ensure communications positioning, promotion, messaging, and execution are effective and consistent.
Work closely with senior management to identify market opportunities and prioritize communication programs supporting growth, market share, brand, and enterprise objectives.
Serve as a central resource for brand-related information and guide business partners in developing and deploying brand-building communication initiatives.
Act as a trusted communications advisor and subject matter expert, mentoring other communications professionals and promoting best practices.
Provide oversight and direction to teams and projects, ensuring strategic alignment, priorities, processes, resources, and timelines remain on track.
Develop innovative workflows and processes that improve operational efficiency, communication quality, and return on investment across tools, vendors, systems, and programs.
Manage applicable communication budgets, agency resources, and project resources, assessing needs and assigning resources to support successful delivery.
Lead or contribute to functional teams and strategic projects, exercising independent judgment and adapting priorities as business needs evolve.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 6 years of communications experience spanning multiple mediums, audience segments, and content formats.
At least 6 years of demonstrated program management and leadership experience, including the ability to recommend strategic direction and influence communication decisions.
Strong enterprise communications experience, with the ability to connect communication and content strategies to broader business objectives and priorities.
Experience developing communications for organizational change, business transformation, or large-scale strategic initiatives is preferred.
Demonstrated experience advising senior executives, building credibility quickly, and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Strong consulting, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to navigate competing priorities and challenge ideas constructively.
Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, organization, planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to frequent change.
Advanced presentation skills and proficiency with word-processing and desktop-publishing applications.
Ability to develop creative communication concepts, research opportunities, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
Ability to work independently with significant autonomy, ambiguity, and executive visibility while exercising sound judgment and discretion.
Experience in the eyewear, software, technology, materials sales, or supply-chain sectors is helpful but not required.
Annual salary range of $84,000–$141,750, with actual compensation determined by experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Potential eligibility for bonuses and commissions as part of the overall compensation package.
