This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager based in United States.

This fully remote role serves as a primary point of contact for personal lines insurance clients, supporting their day-to-day needs and long-term retention.
You will manage a diverse range of policy servicing activities while ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality client support.
The position combines relationship management, insurance expertise, account coordination, and opportunities to grow an existing book of business.
You will advise clients on coverage options, policy changes, exclusions, and evolving insurance needs.
Working closely with internal teams and insurance carriers, you will coordinate renewals, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and other policy transactions.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact and liaison for personal lines clients, delivering responsive and high-quality customer service.
  • Manage and service all aspects of assigned personal lines accounts while supporting client retention.
  • Promote growth within the existing book of business through account rounding and identifying additional coverage opportunities.
  • Market accounts when necessary for renewals and new business.
  • Maintain accurate client and policy information within agency management and electronic document systems.
  • Coordinate the processing of renewals, evidence of insurance, endorsements, audits, cancellations, auto ID cards, binders, summaries of insurance, and policy edits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of client requests and policy transactions.
  • Educate clients and provide recommendations regarding policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and insurance needs.
  • Apply analytical and critical-thinking skills to resolve client and policy servicing issues.
  • Maintain an efficient, paperless workflow while protecting confidential client and policy information.
  • Resolve issues independently while coordinating the efforts of others when needed.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, carriers, and external organizations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Requirements:

    • 3–5+ years of experience in personal lines retail insurance.
    • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
    • Strong working knowledge of personal lines insurance coverages, policies, and services.
    • Experience using agency management systems and electronic document management platforms.
    • Strong computer and internet skills, including proficiency with carrier websites, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through and time-management abilities.
    • Self-motivated, resourceful, creative, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues independently.
    • Ability to coordinate and manage the efforts of others to deliver effective results for clients.
    • Willingness to continuously develop insurance industry knowledge and stay current with relevant technology and tools.
    • Ability to work effectively and respectfully with colleagues, clients, and external organizations.
