This is a long-term opportunity for a hands-on database architecture professional responsible for designing, optimizing, and supporting mission-critical MySQL environments. You will play a key role in building scalable database architectures while ensuring strong performance, reliability, availability, and security across production systems. The position combines architecture with practical database administration, including installations, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. You will collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to establish effective database designs, operational standards, and best practices. A significant focus will be placed on high availability, replication, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
