Junior Java Developer

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using Java and Spring Boot 3, contributing to scalable and efficient solutions.

• Collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality software that meets technical specifications and client expectations.

• Build, integrate, and consume RESTful APIs to support communication between applications and services.

• Apply object-oriented programming principles and software design best practices, including Design Patterns, SOLID, KISS, DRY, and YAGNI.

• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software reliability, functionality, and long-term maintainability.

• Work with relational and non-relational databases to support application functionality and data management.

• Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively on shared codebases.

• Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, code quality, and development workflows.

• Where relevant, support front-end development activities using JavaScript and TypeScript.

Requirements

• Professional experience in Java development, including hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.

• Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript version 4 or later.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and software engineering principles such as SOLID, KISS, DRY, and YAGNI.

• Familiarity with automated testing practices and tools.

• Experience using Git for version control and collaborative development.

• Knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues and understand their business impact.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn from peers and contribute to team objectives.

• Familiarity with front-end development is considered an advantage.

• Candidates residing in the Campinas metropolitan region should be aware that office attendance is required in accordance with the applicable workplace policy.
