This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Contract Recruiter based in the United States.
This is an ongoing remote recruiting opportunity supporting a client with specialized hiring needs in the dental industry.
The role focuses heavily on proactive sourcing rather than simply reviewing inbound applications.
You’ll identify and engage candidates with specialized experience across dental laboratories, restorative dentistry, implants, crowns, bridges, and digital dentistry.
You’ll own early-stage recruiting activities, from sourcing and screening through initial interviews and candidate presentation.
The position combines independent execution with close communication and regular feedback to the recruiting team and hiring managers.
You’ll work with modern recruiting tools including LinkedIn, BreezyHR, Indeed, and other approved sourcing platforms.
This is a flexible 1099 contractor engagement expected to average approximately 30–40 hours per week, depending on hiring demand.
Accountabilities

Proactively source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, recruiting platforms, and other appropriate channels.

Identify candidates with relevant experience in dental laboratories, restorative dentistry, implants, crowns, bridges, digital dentistry, and scanning technologies.

Review resumes and applications to assess relevant experience and distinguish strong matches from adjacent backgrounds.

Conduct first-round candidate interviews through recorded video calls.

Evaluate candidates and provide concise, thoughtful recommendations to hiring teams.

Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and support the progression of candidates through the recruiting process.

Maintain consistent, professional communication with candidates, including follow-ups and status updates.

Keep candidate records, activity, and recruiting information accurate within BreezyHR.

Provide regular updates to the broader recruiting team regarding progress, challenges, candidate availability, and market feedback.

Support additional recruiting assignments for other clients as hiring needs and availability allow.

Previous experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, or a closely related field.

Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and engage candidates rather than relying solely on inbound applications.

Strong sourcing skills and the ability to quickly understand specialized roles and assess relevant versus transferable experience.

Dental, healthcare, medical device, laboratory, manufacturing, or other specialized technical recruiting experience is preferred.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with a professional and personable approach to candidate interactions.

Experience conducting candidate screening or first-round interviews, including recorded video interviews.

Excellent organization and follow-through, particularly when managing multiple candidates and outstanding recruiting tasks.

Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership while keeping stakeholders informed.

Comfortable using applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms; experience with BreezyHR, LinkedIn, Indeed, or comparable tools is advantageous.
