As Stateroom Steward, you will be responsible for the daily servicing and cleaning of guest staterooms on a prompt and professional basis, and in accordance with the company’s highest standards as outlined.

⚓ RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Change bed linens on either “changing day” or as needed.
• Remake beds and replace furniture in original positions.
• Remove and replace all damaged or soiled printed items, including stationery, envelopes, signage, pages of the service directory, laundry bags with order form, breakfast door menus, etc.
• Lightly dust the entire room, including the dusting or polishing of electrical units and loose furniture.
• Lightly vacuum the entire room.
• Clean mirrors, chrome, glass, windows, window ledges, and other shiny surfaces.
• Test all electrical items in the room.
• Collect all stray dishware and remove it if not needed.
• Restock, reset or remove any amenities as needed.

⚓ REQUIEREMENTS:

• Minimum 21 years old
• Relevant ship experience is preferred
• Good level of English language
• Ship experience is preferred
• Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
