Front is building the AI-first customer operations platform that helps teams run faster, stay aligned, and deliver a better customer experience at scale. As a Software Engineering Intern in our Paris product org, you’ll work on real customer-facing problems and ship production code alongside experienced engineers, product designers, and product managers.
This internship is a great fit if you’re excited by strong ownership, tight product + engineering collaboration, and learning by building. You’ll be supported by a dedicated mentor and join a team that moves with high velocity while keeping a high bar for quality and reliability. High-performing interns are often considered for full-time opportunities on the team.
We are currently looking for interns starting in February/March 2027, working hybrid from our office located in central Paris.
What will you be doing?
Own a scoped technical project from discovery to delivery, with clear customer-facing impact
Build and iterate on product experiences in close collaboration with engineers, product managers, and product designers
Write clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on quality (testing, edge cases, performance)
Learn Front’s engineering practices (code reviews, debugging, shipping, monitoring) and contribute like a full team member
Partner closely with a dedicated engineering mentor to grow quickly throughout the internship
What skills and experience do you need?
Full English proficiency (we are an English-speaking company)
Strong programming fundamentals and solid problem-solving skills
Experience building software in JavaScript (or TypeScript).
Familiarity with backend development (Node.js is a plus)
Proficiency with AI coding and productivity tools (e.g., using AI assistants to accelerate development, debugging, and learning while maintaining a high correctness bar)
Product-mindedness: you care about building polished experiences for real users
Genuine curiosity, strong attention to detail, and a growth mindset
Currently pursuing an engineering degree or equivalent in Computer Science in France (end-of-studies internship)
Front operates on a hybrid model — we come together in the office each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to collaborate and stay connected.
