About Felix

Founded in 2019, Felix is a digital healthcare company that puts the patient in control of their own health and well-being. We’re passionate about building technology and beautiful customer experiences to make healthcare more accessible (and more enjoyable) for all Canadians.

Felix is Canada's first end-to-end healthcare experience, providing online treatment, prescription delivery and ongoing care. We deliver care across a growing range of daily health categories such as weight loss, birth control, menopause, erectile dysfunction, acne, longevity and more.

The Role

Felix is hiring an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support all frontline operations across our network. Our current sites are in Mississauga, ON, Richmond Hill, ON and Port Coquitlam, BC.

You’ll be the dedicated HR Business Partner for our pharmacy and fulfillment teams, the people who get care to patients’ doors. You’ll own employee relations, policy and employee experience across our sites, and help shape how we support new locations as we grow. The role is hybrid, with up to 3 days a week on-site in Mississauga and Richmond Hill and periodic travel to Port Coquitlam, BC (as per business needs).

You’ll report directly to our VP, HR, with a seat close to the people's decisions shaping the company, and partner day-to-day with our Pharmacy Operations leaders and the wider HR and Talent teams.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations and HR Support

  • Be the go-to HR partner for employees and managers across our pharmacy and fulfillment teams. You’ll build trust in person in Mississauga and Richmond Hill, and through virtual partnership and visits in Port Coquitlam and the new sites we open.

  • Coach and develop our site leaders, many of them growing into management for the first time, on performance, development and the everyday people decisions that shape their teams.

  • Own employee relations end to end, from investigations and conflict resolution to performance improvement plans and terminations, handling each case with sound judgment, fairness and clear documentation.

HR Policies and Compliance

  • Build and evolve our HR policies: spot the gaps, design practical solutions, and roll them out consistently across every site so the experience feels fair, whether you’re in Mississauga or Port Coquitlam.

  • Keep us compliant across provinces, applying Ontario and BC employment legislation day to day and helping us expand confidently into new provinces as we grow.

  • Learn and navigate the pharmacy-specific landscape, including provincial College requirements around licensure and scope of practice. Healthcare experience helps, but we’ll support you in getting up to speed.

  • Champion workplace health and safety as a member of each site’s Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC), partnering with our Health Compliance team on fulfillment-specific priorities like ergonomics, material handling and equipment training.

HR Operations and Team Partnership

  • Run smooth people operations with our HR and Pharmacy Operations teams, covering onboarding, offboarding, benefits and employee data, and keeping our HiBob records accurate and audit-ready.

  • Bring our people programs to life for our pharmacy and fulfillment teams, from performance reviews and engagement surveys to compensation cycles, adapting them to work for a shift-based workforce.

  • Partner with your fellow HRBPs to keep policies, programs and the employee experience consistent across the business and across provinces.

  • Support hiring alongside our Talent team as we staff up existing sites and open new ones.

What you’ll bring

  • Scale-up HR experience: you’ve provided hands-on HR support in a fast-growing company, ideally for a diverse workforce that mixes full-time, part-time and casual employees.

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with real ownership of a client group or site.

  • Solid knowledge of Ontario and BC employment law, including the ESA, OHSA and WorkSafeBC, and the Human Rights Codes, plus health and safety in a warehouse or fulfillment setting. You’re comfortable getting up to speed on new provinces as we expand.

  • A track record with complex employee relations: you handle sensitive cases with discretion and sound judgment, and you document them thoroughly.

  • Comfort with modern HR tools. HiBob and Ashby are a plus, but any comparable HRIS and ATS will do.

  • Real care for the details: you take pride in getting contracts, compliance documentation and employee data right, because you know that in a regulated healthcare environment it matters.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting pharmacy or other regulated healthcare teams. If that’s new to you, that’s okay. We’ll help you get up to speed on College requirements and scope of practice.

Benefits

  • Direct access to leadership: you’ll work closely with our VP, HR and senior leaders, with real influence over how we grow our people function.

  • Impact you can see: you’ll shape the employee experience for the teams who get care to patients across Canada, at a fast-growing healthcare brand with a real physical operation.

  • 4 weeks of vacation: 3 weeks to take whenever you like, plus an extra week off over the holidays.

  • Full health coverage, including medical, dental and vision benefits from day one.

  • Parental leave for new parents.

  • Hybrid flexibility, with up to 3 days a week on-site in Mississauga

Open vacancy: This posting is for an existing vacancy at the company.

Our commitment to an inclusive team culture means embracing diversity and offering equitable access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded. During our recruitment process, we provide accommodations at any stage. Candidates can tell the hiring manager about their accommodation needs directly or email accessibility@felixforyou.ca.

Recruitment Fraud Alert

Please note: We have been made aware of fraudulent recruiting activities where individuals pose as Felix representatives.

  • Communication: We will only ever contact you from an official @felixforyou.ca email address.

  • Interviews: All interviews are conducted via Google Meet; we never interview via text-only platforms (like Telegram or WhatsApp).

  • Payments: We will never ask for credit card information, bank details, or payments for "equipment" or "onboarding" during the application process.
