- Manage the day-to-day work of the engineering team, balancing feature delivery, technical debt, and platform reliability.
- Own delivery of the team's roadmap for distributed systems written in Go (Golang).
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning for direct reports.
- Oversee code and design reviews to maintain high performance, security, and maintainability standards.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and DevOps/SRE teams to define and prioritize the roadmap.
🛠️ Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience directly managing or leading software engineering teams.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience and distributed systems.
- Experience guiding teams through cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar) and secure, high-scale network services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and policy-based authorization approaches.
