About the Role
Own a core operational domain at an early-stage fintech, such as customer operations, payment operations, or financial crime operations. You will build its processes, metrics, tooling, and automations in close partnership with Product and Engineering, helping the operation handle growing volume without relying on proportional headcount growth.
What You'll Do
Handle operational cases directly at first to identify process bottlenecks and define metrics for success.
Design and launch production automations, then validate them against live operational workflows.
Build and scale agent-based workflows, reserving human review for high-risk or ambiguous decisions.
Work with Product and Engineering to specify and build operational tools and systems.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures, escalation paths, KPIs, and process improvements.
Measure success through increased operational volume and quality without proportional headcount growth.
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years building products or processes in banking, fintech, payments, or crypto, or experience in top-tier consulting with regulated financial services exposure.
Experience shipping production automations or agents in live environments, beyond prototypes.

Experience building or scaling operations at an early-stage company, ideally with 0 to 100 employees.
Hands-on experience with queues, case handling, transaction processing, or similar operational work.
Ability to work directly with Product and Engineering on workflow automation and operational tooling.
Experience with regulated financial operations; familiarity with compliance, risk, financial crime, payments, clearing, settlement, AI agents, or LLMs is useful.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $180,000 to $220,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
