Join the engineering team at a European AI communications company as a Founding Product Engineer. You will take end-to-end ownership of customer-focused product features, from discovery and prototyping through production, helping businesses automate phone-based interactions.
Own features from initial hypotheses through implementation, release, and iteration.
Develop and test product ideas through rapid experiments and lightweight prototypes.
Stay in regular contact with customers, partners, and sales colleagues to identify real needs.
Define and implement product tracking, then use relevant metrics to guide decisions.
Build across the stack and lead architecture and implementation choices.
Balance pragmatic validation with long-term scalability, taking ownership to move initiatives forward.
At least three years of product engineering experience delivering features end to end.
Full-stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and React.
Experience owning software from architecture and implementation through production release.
Hands-on experience in a startup environment and a strong customer-focused product mindset.
German proficiency at B2 level or above, and fluent English for team and product communication.
Comfort using metrics and experiments to inform product decisions.
Experience integrating large language models or building AI-powered features is an advantage.
Compensation is €80,000 to €120,000 annually, with equity. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Remote role based in Germany, with overlap during Central European Time working hours.
Develop and maintain scalable SaaS applications across the stack, contributing to cloud deployments, CI/CD, application modernization, and secure, reliable software delivery with cross-functional teams.
Own a core engineering domain end to end, building and shipping multimodal AI agents for voice, SMS, and email while shaping product decisions through direct customer feedback.
Build backend and data systems that let compute providers onboard GPU clusters, verify readiness, list capacity, track fleet health, and receive payouts without manual intervention.
Develop and maintain cloud-based civic technology applications, building APIs, data workflows, and user interfaces while contributing to testing, code reviews, technical specifications, and agile team practices.
