- Develop backend-focused applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Build low-latency API services on AWS and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Integrate external services through SDKs and build secure multi-tenant environments.
- Work with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, raw SQL, Row-Level Security, and schema migrations.
- Create and maintain CI/CD workflows and test services, including integration and failure-mode testing.
- Contribute to React frontend work and complex client projects as needed.
🛠️ Requirements
- 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused)
- Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Experience building low-latency API services in AWS
- Experience building scalable RESTful APIs
- Experience with SDK integrations to other services
- Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Experience building secure multi-tenant environments
- Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate)
- Professional experience with React
- Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing
