- Operate Parent Company Guarantees, Documentary and Standby Letters of Credit, LOIs, Bank Guarantees, Bid- and Performance Bonds across a banking network of 30+ banks worldwide
- Lead the creation and continuous improvement of cross-departmental trade finance processes, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and automation
- Work closely with international trade finance banks, insurers, and internal teams such as legal, finance, and commercial operations
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting and a clear audit trail for all transactions, in coordination with other teams across the Group
- Act as a strategic partner to commercial desks (gas, power, LNG, LPG), supporting P&L and optimizing capital consumption
- Support structured trade finance transactions and related tasks such as invoice control and internal recharge
🛠️ Requirements
- A finance degree from a recognized university or business school
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a commodity trading house or bank, with hands-on exposure to LC/guarantee operations
- A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and risk awareness
- A strong communicator who collaborates transparently and stays composed under pressure
- Fluent English (C1/C2); German is a strong plus, and other European languages (Italian, Spanish, French) are useful
- Ideally, experience with financial reporting or finance system implementation
