About the role:
We are seeking a Legal Talent Recruitment Manager to join our North America Talent team. Through innovative and creative talent acquisitions strategies, you will play an integral role in the success and expansion of Axiom’s North America legal talent strategy during a pivotal time in our company’s growth.

Specifically, in this role, the Legal Talent Recruitment Manager will be responsible for:
- Executing against our North America Talent Acquisition strategy, including identification, assessment, and attraction of top-tier legal talent through traditional and creative recruitment channels.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for lawyers and legal professional candidates; managing individuals through full cycle recruiting while ensuring a positive, informative, and efficient candidate experience.
- Assisting others on the team to advise key company stakeholders and leaders across North America on industry talent trends, candidate pipeline updates, and recruitment activity levels.
- Assisting the leaders of the function to develop customized and strategic recruitment plans to attract lawyers and legal support professionals to work with our highly innovative and impressive list of clients.
- Building and maintaining a robust network of legal talent and consistently acting as a strong promoter of our brand. Staying current on recruiting issues and trends in the legal industry to inform ongoing recruitment strategy.

Successful candidates must be a fit for both the role as well a fit within Axiom’s unique operating environment and culture. Here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this particular role:
- 4+ years of professional recruiting experience
- Legal industry experience required
- Highly persuasive verbal communication skills, and excellent written communication skills
- Poise, confidence, and maturity to interact and build relationships with candidates; strong interpersonal skills are essential
- Innate ability to build relationships with sophisticated candidates as well as internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a tremendous amount of initiative, multi-tasking, and organizational abilities
- Superb time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Genuine interest in the Axiom model and our place in the changing legal landscape
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
Axiom’s total rewards philosophy is to be transparent and equitable with all job candidates. The annual base salary range for this role based in Chicago is $80,00-$87,000. You will also be eligible to participate in our Quarterly Bonus Plan which on target would be 30% of your base salary for a Manager level role in our Talent Recruitment business unit. You can also participate in our benefits programs that include healthcare, life and disability coverage, 401K with company match, paid sick and personal time off, paid parental leave and more. Please note that the final compensation is determined by several considerations, including the quality of your experience and expertise, your ability to immediately contribute to Axiom, your potential to move up to the next level, the market you are located in, and other business considerations.
