Vice President, Commercial and Privacy

Arctic Wolf is seeking an experienced legal professional to lead the commercial legal team and serve as the primary privacy counsel, focusing on compliance and contract negotiations.

Description

• Mentor, develop and lead a team of commercial professionals responsible for structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Drive continuous improvement and scalability of commercial operations, including public entity contracting and contract management systems.
• Develop and maintain commercial and privacy playbooks, templates, and training materials for Sales and other business teams.
• Provide strategic legal advice on commercial disputes, strategic transactions, privacy, and cybersecurity risk.
• Own and lead the company's privacy program, ensuring compliance with global privacy and data protection laws.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for privacy and data incidents, partnering with Security Operations.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience, including significant in-house experience at a technology company supporting a sales organization.
• Substantive experience advising on privacy and data protection law (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and leading privacy compliance programs.
• CIPP/E certification preferred.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting, managing, mentoring, and leading a team of legal professionals.
• Extensive experience negotiating and drafting sophisticated commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements and DPAs.
