Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.
We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. We build ready teams for live pursuits — not speculative staffing banks.
This role is for Southeast municipal classification and compensation consultants who can support active and upcoming South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia pursuits (for example Beaufort SC, Myrtle Beach, Cary NC, and similar city/county employers).
What you'll do:
- Lead or support municipal classification and compensation studies for SE city and county clients
- Conduct job analysis, market pricing, pay-structure design, and stakeholder workshops
- Build comparator peer sets appropriate to Southeast municipalities and school districts
- Produce clear reports, ranges, and implementation recommendations for HR and leadership
- Present findings to boards, councils, and executive sponsors
- Contribute SE municipal class/comp content and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals (when permissioned)
