Project Management Specialist

About the Role

The Professional Services Project Management Specialist supports the successful delivery of software implementation projects for utilities, local governments, and other public sector organizations. Working within the Professional Services team, this role coordinates customer engagements involving Elements XS and Connect solutions, helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer objectives.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while partnering with clients and cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Specific Responsibilities

• Coordinate software implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and transition to support.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for project communications and stakeholder updates.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, project meetings, and customer workshops.
• Coordinate activities across delivery teams, including configuration, integrations, testing, reporting, and deployment.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and action items and help drive resolution.
• Support change request management, project documentation, and delivery governance processes.
• Ensure projects are delivered with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices and implementation methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, professional services, software implementation, or a related field.
• Experience supporting customer-facing projects and working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience preparing project plans, status updates, meeting notes, and other project documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Geography/GIS, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience working with Esri's GIS technology
• Experience supporting software implementation, configuration, integrations, or reporting projects.
• Knowledge of utilities, local government, asset management, or related industries.
• Familiarity with project management tools and implementation methodologies.
• Ability to travel occasionally as needed.

COMPENSATION AND WELL-BEING
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $100,000 (less applicable taxes). The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an annual base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus target. This is a discretionary bonus awarded based on company and individual goal achievement.
