We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Migration Engineer to support a large-scale infrastructure migration programme, with primary responsibility for planning and executing virtual machine and operating system migrations.
The role has a strong focus on VMware/ESX environments and combines hands-on migration execution with technical planning, validation, troubleshooting and post-migration support.

Key Responsibilities
Execute operating system upgrades and in-place upgrades.
Perform greenfield virtual machine deployments.
Execute VM migrations and ringfencing activities.
Support VMware ESX/ESXi and vCenter migrations and upgrades.
Prepare migration plans, runbooks and cutover procedures.
Perform technical validation, troubleshooting and post-migration support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with VMware/ESX infrastructure.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale VM and OS migrations.
- Hands-on experience with ESXi, vCenter, vMotion and Storage vMotion.
- Experience with both in-place upgrades and greenfield deployments.
- Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure migration skills.
