- Lead a platform engineering team: technical direction, design reviews, code review, and day-to-day delivery.
- Set the technical direction for your team's area of the stack and build platform layers based on product requirements.
- Represent platform engineering in roadmap planning and communicate trade-offs to keep delivery on track.
- Collaborate with security engineering to integrate security guidance and ensure effective remediation of findings.
- Own reliability, observability, security, and interface standards for the services your team ships.
- Stay hands-on by tackling complex engineering work alongside the team.
🛠️ Requirements
- 5+ years in cloud platform or infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years leading an engineering team.
- Strong backend or systems programming background in a production environment, preferably with Python, Go, or Rust.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes operations, including networking and workload management.
- Experience with GPU infrastructure provisioning and resource allocation.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals in cloud environments.
- Proven people management skills, including performance feedback and accountability.
