Job Description
You will be part of a global, evolving and dynamic team of database administrators. As part of this team and based in Geneva, you will have both regional and global responsibilities. We are looking for someone who can fill in this unconventional role, straddling both traditional, on premises databases and also being an important player in our cloud ecosystems. If this is you or you have a vested interest to upskill yourself in Cloud database setup and administration, coming from a more traditional DBA background, we would like to hear from you.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure deployment, support and being accountable on-premises and in the Cloud on the following areas:
- Databases hosting & infrastructure
- Databases Administration & Security
- Oracle middleware products
- CTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management platform) and Analytics applications: installation, critical business process monitoring and business & developer support
- Support and interact with teams across infrastructure, security, network and applications both regionally and globally
- Document standards and follow procedures
- Monitor and manage databases and Unix equipment WW
- Performance Tuning

Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in similar or equivalent position with the following requirements
- Hands on Oracle Databases v19+ included knowledge in DataGuard, Pdb-Cdb, RMAN, RAC, Monitoring (OEM), ASM & Performances tools & options
- Databases hosting and Operating Systems : Oracle Solaris and Oracle Linux in a standalone & Cluster environment, on-prem or in Cloud
- Strong experience with the following Oracle Middleware products:
