- Own complex design problems from early exploration through execution, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and product opportunities.

- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to understand the technology behind the experience and turn complex systems into simple experiences for listeners.
- Explore how experiences scale across mobile, desktop, TVs, speakers, cars, and other surfaces in the Spotify ecosystem.
- Use prototyping to explore, communicate, and test ideas, including AI-assisted and code-based approaches where they help us learn faster.
🛠️ Requirements
- Experience designing sophisticated, user-facing digital products with a portfolio showcasing complex UX and interaction challenges.
- Strong visual and interaction design craft, focusing on creating polished experiences down to the details.
- Understanding of how technology and technical constraints shape product design, with curiosity to dig deeper into systems.
- Experience designing for mobile and the ability to think beyond a single screen or device.
- Ability to connect individual interactions to the broader product ecosystem through systems thinking.
- Comfort in owning ambiguous, complex projects with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong prototyping skills and proficiency in tools like Figma.
- Curiosity about AI-assisted design and interest in experimenting with new prototyping methods.
