Who we are?
Silverfin is a cutting-edge cloud software solution built by accountants, for accountants.
Founded in 2013, Silverfin was created to solve the frustrations of manual, error-prone processes in analysing financial data and compliance. From day one, we’ve been a cloud-first platform with an open API architecture, leveraging structured data to transform how accountants work.
Our mission is simple: to enhance and support the accountancy profession through AI and automation, ensuring accountants remain relevant and respected in the future of finance.
In 2023, Silverfin became part of the Visma Group, joining one of Europe’s leading providers of cloud software. This partnership strengthens our ability to innovate and expand our impact within the accountancy industry.
Today, Silverfin is trusted by over 1000+ firms across 19 countries. Our clients include all of the Big 4 accounting firms, as well as leading global networks like BDO, PKF, Baker Tilly, Grant Thornton, and Moore.
Headquartered in Ghent, with offices in London, Luxembourg, Gouda (NL), and a 2nd office in South of Belgium (Mont-Saint-Guibert), we’re a team of over 200 people - including a diverse remote engineering team working across multiple time zones - all working together to drive innovation in accounting.
Your role
This is a 13-month fixed-term role covering a period of maternity leave.
You’ll help ensure that everything Silverfin publishes - globally and in every market - sounds and looks like Silverfin. You'll write and produce our global content, help maintain a strong and consistent creative standard across five markets, and run our global PR. Running through all of it is our FY27 brand refresh, which you'll help shape and deliver.
You'll be joining a team where the campaign architecture, brand system, agency roster and AI-assisted workflows are already in place and running. We're looking for someone who can build on these foundations, keep the brand coherent through a busy campaign and events season, and bring their own perspective to how it evolves.
Your responsibilities
|
Content creation - 50%
Maintain the global content framework and messaging house, so campaign content feels consistent globally while reflecting meaningful local nuance across UK&I, BE, NL, LU and DK. Manage our corporate social media presence and the global content calendar, coordinating with BU field marketing and the office of the CEO. Maintain the AI content workflows the team relies on to produce per-BU content with the right messaging and the right translation: keeping prompts, brand guidelines and skill definitions current as our positioning evolves. Manage our content assets and coordinate localisation and translation with our copywriting and translation agency, Contentoo. Brand and design - 35%
Work closely with our design agency, DesignCloud, to create assets such as reports and whitepapers, event collateral, presentations and social content, as well as on-brand templates. Own our corporate templates and digital asset management, so the wider team can self-serve on brand-compliant assets. Produce light-touch design work in-house where it's faster to do so than to brief the agency. Partner with field and digital marketing teams to strengthen the quality and brand consistency of content and creative before it goes live. Play a significant role in our FY27 brand refresh, as outlined below. Global PR and external communication - 15%
Run the day-to-day global PR programme across the UK and Benelux, managing our PR agency relationships. Coordinate with our PR agencies to support the launch and media coverage of our annual global research report, All Accounted For, with trade and business press across markets. Collaborate with Visma on the rollout of global PR programs in our markets. Help grow our media presence in the Netherlands specifically - an area where we see a strong opportunity to build greater visibility during the contract. Stay close to what our customers, prospects, competitors and the wider profession are talking about, working with our PR agency and the AI-assisted trade digest we've built. Use these insights to identify content ideas, campaign angles and sharper messaging, and share relevant findings with the wider marketing and product teams. Major project: FY27 brand refresh
Alongside the above, you will play a significant role in our FY27 brand refresh - a substantial piece of work that will run through much of the contract -that could include: Contributing to brand positioning, messaging architecture and tone of voice development. Working with our design partner on visual identity direction and application. Auditing our existing content and creative estate against the new direction and planning the migration. Building the guidelines, templates and enablement that help five markets adopt the refreshed brand consistently. Coordinating rollout across BU field marketing, digital, product marketing and the office of the CEO. You won't own the refresh alone, but you will be central to it, and we’d value your perspective and ideas alongside your ability to turn them into action. |
Your impact
|
You’ll be briefing agencies independently while maintaining a strong standard of work. Social listening is generating useful insights that inform the team's decisions. You’ll have developed a view on opportunities to strengthen our brand and content, and shared your recommendations with the team. You’ll be actively contributing your perspective and ideas to the brand refresh. Across the contract
Our brand is coherent across every market and channel. Someone looking at UK, Benelux and Nordic output would recognise one company. Media coverage holds or grows across the UK and Benelux, with measurable improvement in the Netherlands. The FY27 brand refresh is successfully adopted internally and externally, with guidelines and templates found useful and easy to apply. You’ll be able to use data to demonstrate the contribution of our content and brand activity, and show how insights have informed your approach. At the end of the contract, you’ll leave behind a well-documented function, with current trackers, established agency relationships, a clear budget position and workflows that support a smooth handover. |
Around 5–7 years of experience in content and/or brand marketing, with a portfolio across different formats and channels.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the judgement to provide clear, constructive feedback on others' work and help strengthen it.
A strong eye for design. You don't need to be a designer, but you should feel comfortable briefing designers, assessing creative work and creating clean assets yourself in Canva and/or InDesign.
Experience in or with B2B SaaS, and an interest in working with a technical, professional audience.
Experience briefing and managing external agencies, with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
Experience producing content for multiple markets, ideally including localisation or translation coordination.
Experience with, or an interest in working with, social listening tools, alongside a working knowledge of SEO.
Experience using AI content tools in practical, production-focused ways.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage several projects and work with a good level of independence.
Experience contributing to a brand refresh, rebrand or visual identity project, particularly the rollout and adoption side.
Hands-on PR experience, including agency management.
Familiarity with accountancy, fintech or professional services.
Dutch or French language skills.
A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
A structured handover with the current post-holder before the leave begins, plus written documentation of live projects, agency contacts and workflows.
Regular one-to-ones with the Senior Manager of Demand Generation, and a defined stakeholder map across BU field marketing, digital, HR and the office of the CEO.
Budget approval sits with the Senior Manager of Demand Generation; you'll track spend against the content, brand and PR lines and flag variances early.
As this is a fixed-term maternity cover role, we can't guarantee a permanent position at the end of the contract. If a suitable permanent opportunity is available at that point, we'd be happy to explore it with you.
