What you will be doing

We are looking for a Domain Architect to lead and evolve the architecture within our Infrastructure & Security Operations Area. This is a senior role with full accountability for a large, complex, and highly interconnected Area, where connectivity and networking capabilities are at the core.

You will define and drive the target architecture to support business objectives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, regulatory expectations, and long-term technology strategy. The area includes global network services and communication platforms, cloud foundations and landing zones, observability and monitoring capabilities, as well as security operations, forming the backbone of SEB's secure, resilient, and scalable technology landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Drive, lead, and evolve the area architecture in alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy

• Own and govern the architecture for a large and complex area

• Define and maintain the target architecture and roadmap

• Lead our architectural community of Solution Architects within our area

• Contribute to strategic planning and transformation initiatives

• Guide and mentor architects and engineers across the area

• Collaborate across areas to ensure end-to-end architectural consistency and be part of the architectural decision foras within SEB

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, balancing opportunities and risks

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and influence key decisions

To succeed in this role, we believe:

• Have 10+ years of experience driving architecture within large-scale infrastructure, connectivity, and cloud environments.

• Operate confidently at Domain, Area, or Enterprise level, balancing strategic direction with hands-on architectural leadership.

• Bring deep expertise in networking, cloud foundations, observability, and security operations.

• Can translate business strategy into clear architectural roadmaps and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.

• Have a proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop architects and engineers in complex environments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish & English.
