On behalf of FinTech Client #3, SD Solutions is looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, compliance, and data. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will take ownership of ensuring the integrity of critical processes - such as Compliance Control, Due Diligence, Legal Automation, and more. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of these systems, driving both architectural modernization and day-to-day stability. Your work will range from designing new automated capabilities to rigorously refactoring existing flows, deep-diving into complex logic to optimize alerts, and ensuring our production environment remains robust at scale. Responsibilities:

• Design & Build: Lead the design and implementation of data solutions and ETLs that ensure regulatory compliance and legal process automation (e.g., IVV, Due Diligence).
• Data Integrity & Scale: Work with large datasets and oversee complex data pipelines, ensuring absolute data integrity across critical financial systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and engineering teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into accurate, high-quality technical solutions.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• 3+ years building scalable, production-grade data models with dbt or an equivalent SQL-first transformation framework (SQLMesh, Dataform, Coalesce, Databricks DLT). Experience with dbt itself is an advantage; if the candidate has worked in an equivalent framework, we expect him to be comfortable ramping up on dbt quickly.
• 4+ years of experience in data modeling and building scalable ELT/ETL pipelines on Snowflake (or a comparable cloud warehouse — BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
• 4+ years of Python and SQL experience.
• 3+ years of experience designing and managing automated data pipelines using Apache Airflow (Python).
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and big data technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in large-scale systems.
• Proven experience packaging applications with Docker and utilizing Argo Workflows to automate, execute, and monitor containerized task sequences.
• Experience with design patterns and coding best practices.
• Proficiency with Git and modern source control.
• Basic Linux/Unix system administration skills.
• Familiarity with LLM-assisted coding tools.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Background in Fintech, Banking, or regulatory environments.
• Experience with AI development tools like Cursor and Claude Code.
