TN13 - Javascript QA Automation Senior

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. QA Automation Engineer to join an innovative financial technology company where you'll work with the latest AI-powered tools and your ideas and proposals will always have room to be heard and implemented.
This is a fast-paced environment where things move quickly and not everything is perfectly defined, you'll need to be proactive, reaching out across teams to find answers and keep things moving. You'll own test automation across multiple frontend and backend applications, supporting releases while
effectively managing timelines and stakeholder expectations.

/ Responsibilities
● Lead the quality assurance of your development team, owning the quality process end-to-end.
● Coordinate the release process: track and communicate pending items, facilitate the release call, give the green light for deployment, and validate that the release was implemented correctly via a post-release sanity check.
● Provide clear visibility to technical and quality leads on release status, automation coverage, pain points, and improvement suggestions.
● Work proactively in an agile environment where not everything is fully defined — reach out to product owners, business analysts, and developers to gather the information needed, and document findings along the way.
● Own the creation and automation of frontend and backend test cases. If joining a project with an automation debt, assess the gap and build a plan to reach the expected coverage.
● Provide feedback on features and record bugs.

/ Requirements
Technical Skills
● +5 years of experience in Quality Testing.
● +3 years of experience in QA Automation.
● Experience in usage and setup of CI/CD pipelines. CircleCI is preferred.
● Hands-on frontend automation experience with Javascript with Webdriver IO.
● Hands-on backend automation experience.
● Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and programming concepts.
● Able to work with relational and non-relational databases.
● Knowledge of Google BigQuery and Cloud Storage is a plus.
