Automation and Electrical Engineer

​We are seeking an Electrical Engineer/Advisor to support complex energy-sector projects across their full lifecycle, from feasibility through to construction and design. The role focuses on delivering technical expertise in power evacuation and auxiliary power systems, producing high-quality documentation, driving engineering solutions, and collaborating across disciplines to ensure efficient, compliant project delivery.

Your new role

 

​As our new Automation and Electrical Engineer, you will be part of an exceptional technical environment with 30 colleagues. The department is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services globally within the energy sector and the industry sector for projects around the world.

 

 

​Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • ​Providing advice on electrical projects in the energy sector (power evacuation systems, auxiliary power supply systems for power plants/CHP plants/heating plants/industrial plants) at various stages of development (feasibility studies, tender documentation, construction and basic designs).
  • Preparing and agreeing on applications for technical connection requirements.
  • Preparing documentation (feasibility studies, tender documentation, construction and basic designs) in the electrical industry for medium and high voltage power evacuation systems, medium and low voltage auxiliary power supply systems for power plants/CHP plants/industrial plants.
  • Participating in the substantive evaluation of engineering products, such as documentation, analyses, and designs.
  • Developing technical solutions, recommendations, and resolving problems related to the electrical industry.
  • Obtaining quotes for estimates
  • Coordination and collaboration with other industries

 

 

About you

 

  • Higher technical education, preferably in Electrical Engineering
  • Design qualifications in the electrical industry are preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design/investment consulting
  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD (other industry-specific knowledge preferred) and MS Office
  • Knowledge of other design support programs
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Creativity, independence, diligence, and commitment
  • Availability and flexibility with work schedule
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage work time
