Month end: Own the month-end close and make it faster and more accurate as the business grows.
Controls: Close out audit recommendations and build a controls framework fit for the next stage of the business.
Process improvement: Improve and automate finance processes, using AI and systems to reduce manual work.
Business partnering: Work closely with the FP&A team towards a common goal of accurate, timely numbers, and with the wider business to build controls into how we buy, spend and pay.
Technical accounting: Lead on complex accounting areas and any changes in accounting standards.

You'll have:
ACA qualification, with audit training at a Big Four or mid-tier firm.
Post-qualification experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role within a high-growth business.
Experience leading or supporting an external audit and preparing statutory accounts.

Experience implementing finance systems and automation, with an AI-first approach to reducing manual work.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Xero or similar.
The ability to communicate clearly with auditors, advisers and non-finance stakeholders.
High standards of accuracy, real ownership of the numbers and the confidence to challenge constructively.
A proactive, collaborative approach and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
It's a bonus if you have:
