- Conduct performance analyses during migrations using database and SAP traces, execution plan analysis, and runtime analyses.
- Perform system monitoring with load monitoring for CPU and main memory capacity, optimizing migration runs for resource utilization and system load.
- Check sizing of SAP systems regarding hardware components and SAP system parameters.
- Coordinate with client-side SAP Basis teams for database and SAP system parameterization.
- Assist in executing transformation and data migration projects.
🛠️ Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge in (business) informatics; a relevant degree in a STEM field is preferred.
- Excellent technical knowledge of relational database management systems (SAP HANA, Oracle) and SAP Basis.
- Strong understanding of the technical architecture of SAP systems and SAP performance system parameters.
- Good knowledge of ABAP, ABAP OO, and SQL, with experience in SAP performance optimization.
- Experience in SAP data migration projects or ETL processes.

Zur Erweiterung unseres Consultant Teams suchen wir ab sofort bundesweit bei freier Wohnortwahl in Deutschland einen SAP Basis Performance Consultant (m/w/d), der auf technischer Systemebene die Transformationsprojekte unterstützt und dafür sorgt die Laufzeiten durch Optimierung von Datenbank- und Systemkonfiguration innerhalb der Projektzyklen deutlich zu reduzieren.
Deine Aufgaben:
Durchführung von Performance-Analysen innerhalb von Migrationen, zum Beispiel durch Datenbank- und SAP-Traces, Execution Plan Analyse und Laufzeitanalysen
System-Monitoring im Projektgeschäft mit Lastmonitoring zur CPU & Hauptspeicherkapazität sowie Optimierung von Migrationsläufen hinsichtlich Ressourcennutzung und Systemauslastung
Check des Sizing von SAP-Systemen bzgl. Hardware-Komponenten und SAP Systemparametern
Abstimmung mit kundenseitigen SAP-Basis Teams zur Parametrisierung von Datenbanken und SAP Systemen
Unterstützung in der Ausführung von Transformations- und Datenmigrationsprojekten
