Full job description
MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers, including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.
In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.
Role context
This role sits on the Product Marketing team and reports to the Director of Product Marketing. You'll be aligned to one or more of our product pillars and work with one to three product managers and their engineers, taking products from alpha through public beta to general availability. You're the translator between what product and engineering build and the language sales and customers use.
The role
You will own how your products reach the market, from first alpha to GA.
Plan and run launches for mid-tier (P2) products end to end, and lead a major workstream on our biggest (P1) launches, so sales and customer teams are ready on launch day.
Shape messaging, positioning and naming with your product counterpart so technical capabilities land as clear value for both the buyer and the frontline technician.
Build the collateral, video scripts and enablement that help reps close faster and help customers adopt what we ship.
Partner with Demand Gen on campaign messaging and review what goes to market.
Use analytics tools, customer conversations and market research to understand buyers, and own an adoption goal, shared with your product counterpart, that we review every week.
Within six to twelve months, product, sales and marketing should see you as the person to ask about your products. You'll have real autonomy to set strategy with your product counterpart and bring recommendations to your manager. Your priorities will shift each quarter with what the business needs.
About you
Must-haves
2β4 years in product marketing or a closely related role, such as sales enablement, sales or marketing
You've taken a product launch from plan to release and can tell us what worked and what didn't
You write clearly and present with confidence to sales, product and executive audiences
You've worked with go-to-market teams before and after the sale
You're comfortable getting hands-on in tools like Tableau, Databricks and Salesforce to check on customers and adoption
You see the whole picture: tell you one thing and you can map the many moving parts behind it
You welcome feedback, take accountability, and know when to push and when to agree and move on
Nice-to-haves
Background in manufacturing, industrial or other asset-intensive industries
Experience marketing B2B software or AI products
We offer
Your work shows up in the physical world. What we ship keeps factories, fleets and campuses running, and when it works, a technician goes home on time. You're joining a product the industry already loves, now part of Autodesk, with the scale of a global public company pointed at the problem we were already solving. The seat is early, not inherited: the team is small enough that you can name the parts of the launch process you own. And operations is new ground inside Autodesk, so the people who join now have real room to grow.
Values and how we work
We reward output and promote quickly when people deliver. Product marketing here means navigating strong opinions from product, sales and marketing, because everyone cares about the work. We look for people who are smart, humble and optimistic: open to feedback, easy to work with, and honest about what didn't go to plan.
Our mission is to keep the physical world running. Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using. That is what we build.
Compensation and benefits. Base pay is one part of the package. Depending on the role, compensation may also include commission, an annual bonus and equity. Benefits differ by country. For roles in the United States, Autodeskβs benefits are described at benefits.autodesk.com. For roles in Canada and other countries, the plan differs on health coverage, retirement and leave, and your recruiter will walk you through it.
Belonging. We take pride in a culture where everyone can thrive. More at autodesk.com/company/global-belonging. More on where this is going: Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost on building the future of connected operations, and AOS SVP Stephen Hooper on welcoming MaintainX to Autodesk.
