About the Role
Lyra is at the forefront of increasing access to evidence-based, efficacious mental health services on a large scale. Lyra has developed innovative blended models of coaching and psychotherapy that combine leading clinical expertise with routine outcomes monitoring and engaging clinical digital tools. Additionally, Lyra offers a robust self-care library, which includes evidence-based articles, mindfulness resources, and other wellbeing tools. Scientific publications on Lyra’s mental health coaching, psychotherapy, medication management, and workforce mental health programs provide strong evidence for the clinical effectiveness of these evidence-based treatment programs.
We are seeking a highly skilled licensed psychologist with exceptional clinical expertise, writing skills, and content development experience who is passionate about developing client-facing materials (articles, quick tips, short psychoeducational videos, etc.) that teach evidence-based mental health skills. This role is centered on the development, management, and innovation of our digital self-care/prevention offering. Strong training, direct experience, and expertise in promoting individual and family well-being (kids, adolescents, parents, etc.) is required. This role will also support the development/refinement of Lyra’s AI tools, applying clinical knowledge and expertise to ensure AI’s safety and effectiveness.
You will be part of a highly skilled, creative, and collaborative team with an established track record for developing effective and engaging digital clinical materials on emotional wellness and psychotherapy skills. By directly reaching tens of thousands of clients, your work on self-care materials and AI tools will help create meaningful positive change on a large scale.
Responsibilities

Contribute to member outreach: Collaborate with Marketing teams on monthly campaigns, provide clinical review, and represent the clinical perspective in strategy discussions.
Support AI tool development: Contribute to clinical AI tool development and refinement, including testing, quality assurance monitoring, and writing gold-standard responses and dialogues to ensure safety and clinical effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with Product, Design, and other teams at Lyra on self-care initiatives.
Contribute to self-care innovation: Track emerging trends and research in the self-care landscape to inform and propose ideas to increase engagement and clinical value, including reviewing sources of content to consider licensing.
