This role leads end-to-end client implementation projects from initial planning through deployment within a professional services environment.
You will oversee complex SaaS implementations spanning risk management, governance, compliance, safety, and healthcare solutions.
Working across client stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors, you will keep projects aligned to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
You will coordinate resources, manage project risks and dependencies, and provide clear visibility into progress and outcomes.
The position also involves identifying opportunities for expanded scope and supporting account teams with change orders and commercial discussions.
This is an opportunity for an experienced project leader to manage strategic implementations while working closely with both business and technical stakeholders.
Accountabilities:
- Lead client implementation projects from inception through deployment, ensuring delivery remains on time, on budget, and within agreed scope.
- Create and maintain all required artifacts within the standard project management toolkit.
- Identify, monitor, and manage potential scope creep and out-of-scope requests.
- Work with project sponsors to ensure appropriate resources are allocated and available throughout each implementation.
- Partner with technical consultants to ensure project deliverables are clearly assigned and appropriately resourced.
- Maintain implementation-related information and project data within Salesforce and Certinia.
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external project meetings, ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged.
- Prepare and present client and project status reports, including implementation updates and executive steering committee materials.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, issues, and key milestones while communicating relevant updates to stakeholders.
- Identify potential opportunities for expanded services and coordinate with account management teams to evaluate and pursue them.
- Support account management teams in presenting and negotiating pricing and Statements of Work for change orders and expanded project scope.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business, technical, client, and vendor stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional project management experience, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing system replacement and/or integration projects.
- Experience working with business and technical executives to define and execute strategic roadmaps.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience coordinating complex project environments.
- Previous vendor management experience within a project setting is preferred.
- Experience in the risk management, insurance, compliance, safety, or related industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders while maintaining focus on project outcomes.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and communicate potential scope expansion opportunities.
- $108,000–$135,000 starting base salary, depending on skills, experience, location, business needs, training, and market factors.
