This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Creative Front-End Engineer – Digital Agency based in Brazil.

As a Senior Creative Front-End Engineer, you will transform sophisticated visual concepts into pixel-perfect, interactive, and highly animated web experiences. Your expertise will help ensure that every digital experience combines visual precision, accessibility, and outstanding performance across browsers and devices. This is a long-term, fully remote opportunity for a highly autonomous engineer based in Latin America, working US Pacific Time hours on high-impact projects for leading American brands.

Accountabilities

  • Develop premium digital experiences: Build visually compelling, highly interactive websites and interfaces that meet demanding creative and technical standards for internationally recognized consumer brands.
  • Translate designs into code: Convert detailed Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces, ensuring visual consistency, precise spacing, typography, and faithful execution of creative concepts.
  • Create advanced animations: Develop smooth, sophisticated animations and scroll-driven interactions using modern animation libraries and web technologies while maintaining an engaging user experience.
  • Build scalable front-end components: Develop reusable, maintainable UI components using React or Next.js, advanced Tailwind CSS, and modern CSS techniques to support complex design systems and responsive layouts.
  • Optimize performance: Ensure animation-intensive pages remain fast and responsive by optimizing rendering, painting, asset loading, and other performance-critical processes, targeting smooth 60fps experiences where appropriate.
  • Ensure accessibility: Implement accessible interfaces with appropriate ARIA attributes, keyboard navigation, and reduced-motion support to create inclusive digital experiences.
  • Lead front-end delivery: Independently manage front-end implementation, make sound technical decisions, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain code quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and follow best practices for reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Validate cross-platform experiences: Conduct thorough debugging and cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent functionality and visual quality across different environments.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development: Incorporate tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor into everyday engineering workflows to accelerate development, improve code quality, and streamline problem-solving.
  • Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with designers, engineers, and other project stakeholders to refine implementation details, resolve technical challenges, and deliver polished digital products.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends: Continuously explore new front-end techniques, animation capabilities, interaction patterns, and UI technologies to enhance the quality and creativity of delivered experiences.
