This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Area Manager based in Brazil.

This is a remote commercial leadership opportunity focused on growing sales through an established distributor network.
The role combines channel management, technical B2B sales, market development, and customer relationship management.
You will be responsible for building regional growth plans and translating market opportunities into measurable commercial results.
A key part of the position is strengthening distributor performance, capabilities, and profitability across equipment, parts, and services.
You will also engage directly with strategic customers, monitor competitive activity, and develop opportunities in industrial markets.
The role offers broad exposure to sales strategy, aftermarket development, and long-term channel growth.
Regular travel is expected to support distributors, customers, and commercial initiatives across the region.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and develop the distributor network, monitoring commercial and operational performance, setting targets, creating business plans, and ensuring alignment with commercial policies and regional objectives.

  • Develop and execute regional sales plans covering equipment, parts, and services, while managing the pipeline, forecast, and opportunities through CRM systems.

  • Identify new market opportunities, map strategic accounts and projects, monitor competitors, promote new products, and implement initiatives designed to expand market share.

  • Drive aftermarket growth by developing parts and service-contract opportunities, monitoring customer satisfaction, and supporting distributors in strengthening their technical service capabilities.

  • Conduct customer and distributor visits, support strategic negotiations, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the industrial market.

  • Develop distributor sales teams through training, coaching, and the sharing of effective commercial and operational practices.

  • Contribute to national commercial strategy and long-term planning, translating market insights into regional and segment-specific growth initiatives.

  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education qualification.

    • Previous experience in technical B2B sales, preferably within industrial markets and solutions involving complex equipment.

    • Professional experience managing distributors, indirect sales channels, or commercial partner networks.

    • Technical knowledge of industrial rotating equipment, particularly air compressors, blowers, and/or vacuum pumps.

    • Strong understanding of industrial markets, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and B2B sales cycles.

    • Ability to manage sales pipelines, forecasts, strategic accounts, and business development activities in a structured manner.

    • Intermediate English proficiency.

    • Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, analytical, and organizational skills.

    • Commercial mindset with the ability to combine technical understanding with customer and business needs.

    • Availability to travel regularly as required by customers, distributors, and commercial activities.

    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
