Accountabilities:
Lead delivery management: Coordinate end-to-end delivery activities, serving as the primary interface between business areas and technology teams to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes.
Monitor delivery performance: Track and analyze flow metrics, including Lead Time, Cycle Time, Throughput, and Work in Progress (WIP), to improve predictability, identify bottlenecks, and increase productivity.
Manage dependencies and stakeholders: Coordinate cross-team dependencies, communicate delivery progress transparently, and ensure stakeholders have clear visibility into project status, risks, and potential impacts.
Plan and coordinate releases: Develop implementation plans that include risk assessments, contingency and rollback strategies, task assignments, responsibilities, and timelines to ensure secure and reliable deployments.
Support feasibility and estimation: Act as a reference point for business and development teams when assessing the feasibility, effort, costs, and potential impacts of new products, services, and technology initiatives.
Identify and mitigate risks: Proactively detect delivery risks, negotiate realistic deadlines, resolve conflicts, and remove blockers that could affect project progress or business outcomes.
Ensure effective communication: Maintain clear, consistent, and transparent communication with clients and internal stakeholders, fostering alignment and confidence throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Optimize demand management: Organize incoming requests, establish a comprehensive view of workflows, and identify dependencies, process gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams: Facilitate collaboration across business, development, and other technical functions, ensuring relevant information is shared and issues are addressed promptly.
Drive continuous improvement: Promote delivery best practices, encourage data-informed decisions, and implement process improvements that strengthen quality, efficiency, and team performance.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Delivery management expertise: Ability to coordinate complex technology deliveries, align business expectations with technical execution, and maintain visibility across multiple initiatives.
Data-driven mindset: Familiarity with delivery flow metrics such as Lead Time, Cycle Time, Throughput, and WIP, with the ability to use performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
Planning and prioritization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing demands, dependencies, timelines, and priorities across multidisciplinary teams.
Risk and release management: Ability to assess implementation risks, coordinate release plans, develop contingency strategies, and support safe, controlled deployments.
Business and technical understanding: Ability to evaluate project feasibility, estimate effort and costs, understand technical constraints, and communicate trade-offs to business stakeholders.
Stakeholder management: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to maintain alignment among clients, business leaders, developers, and other stakeholders.
