Your Role
As a Civil Project Manager, you will manage civil engineering projects from start to finish, with a focus on both land development and municipal review work. You will coordinate with clients, municipalities, and internal team members to keep projects moving forward while maintaining quality, budgets, and schedules.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
· Manage Civil Projects: Lead land development projects from planning and design through permitting and completion, managing scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
· Perform Municipal Reviews: Review subdivision, land development, stormwater, and other civil engineering submissions on behalf of municipal clients and provide clear, practical review comments.
· Lead Project Teams: Coordinate engineers, designers, technicians, and other team members to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality work.
· Ensure Quality: Provide technical oversight and QA/QC for assigned projects and municipal reviews.
· Build Client Relationships: Communicate consistently with developers, municipal officials, clients, and other project stakeholders to understand needs, solve problems, and provide excellent service.
· Business Development: Build and maintain client relationships while identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow JHA’s civil engineering services.
What We’re Looking For

· Experience in civil engineering with the ability to manage multiple land development and/or municipal projects.
· Experience with land development design, permitting, and municipal review processes.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams.
