iVerify is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will be a key partner in strengthening and scaling our accounting operations as the company grows.
The Senior Accountant will take meaningful ownership of day-to-day accounting execution, including month-end close, reconciliations, billing, AP/AR, general ledger activities, and supporting schedules. A key focus of the role will be helping transition recurring accounting activities currently supported by external resources into the internal Finance team, while building scalable, accurate, and well-controlled processes.
By adding dedicated senior accounting capacity, this role will also enable the Accounting Manager to expand focus across financial reporting, revenue oversight, controls, process improvement, and broader accounting initiatives.
Support day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, customer billing, cash application, and general ledger activity.
Prepare routine journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations.
Support the monthly close process by preparing schedules and resolving routine accounting items.
Maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks Online and related systems.
Monitor AR aging, support customer collections, and ensure cash receipts are applied accurately.
Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
Coordinate with internal teams on vendor invoices, expense coding, and other routine accounting matters.
Help transition recurring accounting activities currently supported by external accounting resources into the internal Accounting team.
Maintain accounting documentation and support improvements to recurring workflows.
Provide accounting schedules and supporting documentation for tax, audit, and compliance needs as requested.
Qualifications
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful hands-on experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting.
Strong understanding of US GAAP.
Hands-on experience with reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, AP, AR, billing, and cash application.
Experience with QuickBooks Online or a comparable accounting system.
Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
Familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and subscription billing concepts.
Data-driven and analytical, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong ownership mentality and ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate.
Highly organized and comfortable managing recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Process-oriented and comfortable documenting and improving workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Own general ledger accounting and financial reporting for assigned Americas entities, leading end-to-end close, audit coordination, reconciliations, and process improvements under US GAAP.
Perform corporate and hotel-related general ledger accounting and month-end close, managing payroll entries and accruals, cash and credit-card activity, reconciliations, and supporting reporting.
Own day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and close processes across multiple entities, maintaining accurate records and controls while supporting M&A integrations and improving accounting operations.
Own key areas of the month-end close, lead revenue accounting, support financial reporting and audits, and improve accounting processes and AI-assisted workflows as the finance function scales.
